Reflection of Participatory Approach Method

Participative learning is a learning activity in which all parties, including teachers and students, are actively involved in each learning activity. Student participation was realized in three stages of learning activities are the planning stages of the program (program planning), implementation (program implementation), and assessment (program evaluation) learning activities.

The participatory approach to evaluation is aimed at promoting action and community-level change.

At the planning stage of the learner involvement activities realized in identifying learning needs, or potential sources are available, priority issues and problems, and possible barriers to learning. Furthermore, the students involved in the formulation of learning objectives. Learning objective is a statement of what will be achieved or acquired through learning activities learners.

 

In the implementation phase of the learning program students are involved in creating a climate that is conducive to learning. Climate conducive include first, discipline learners are characterized by regularity in attendance at each learning activity. Second, fostering relationships between students and educators so as to create an open human relations, intimate, focused, mutual respect, mutual help, and learn from each other. Third, the interaction between the learning activities of students and educators conducted through a horizontal relationship.

In the evaluation phase of the learning program the learners are involved in determining what will be evaluated, how the evaluation is done, and the evaluation will be carried out at any time. In addition students are also involved in the implementation of the evaluation. Evaluation can be used both for assessment and for the assessment of the implementation of learning management learning program.
